The Wee small hours

As I sit and wait for another film to render (I’m on one of those awful deadlines again) I have been pondering where I am currently situated within my little artistic world.  This week has led me kicking and screaming back to the commercial world in the guise of an I.T. bod again.  It helps pay the bills and has reminded me that I used to be quite good at other stuff all those years ago.  Stage -wise, I am performing a small song this weekend, which should be quite good fun.  Then we move into a big musical in the Autumn.  It might only be a hobby, but it’s worth the hard work!  I am looking forward to meeting two possible colleagues this week, and making plans for the future.  Some projects seem a little more shaky than others, but I am looking forward to working with some new people!  As I said to my Doctor, this feels remarkably like optimism, and I am not sure I like it.
