Uniformly awful

I was talking to a girl from a local school today who explained to me about a recent change in School uniform policy.  The policy with regards girls trousers and skirts has changed.  This was explained to the young lady in question by a teacher who told her that boys were finding the revealing nature of the female body too distracting.  What message does that send out to young impressionable women?  They need to dress according to Male standards and barriers?  I genuinely despair.  Suzanne Moore wrote in the Guardian yesterday that we need a Feminist party, and I don’t think I have ever agreed more.
